About

I’m Brandy — and you don’t have to translate yourself here.

A trauma‑informed therapist for the people who are always the steady one, and rarely the one being held.

Hi, I’m Brandy Stith, MA, LPC. I’m a trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive therapist and the founder of Dose of Soul Therapy. My work centers on creating a space where you can exhale, settle in, and reconnect with parts of yourself that deserve care and compassion.

Most of the people I sit with are the dependable ones — the planner, the fixer, the one others call when things fall apart. From the outside, life looks handled. Underneath, you’ve been running on empty, overthinking everything, or feeling oddly far from your own life.

As a Black therapist serving BIPOC communities, I understand how courage, identity, and cultural context shape the healing journey. If therapy hasn’t always felt accessible or safe, you’re not alone — and you’re welcome here.

My approach blends clinical expertise with human connection. I use evidence‑based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, EFT, ACT, and mindfulness, alongside grounding and creative practices when they support your process. I have particular experience walking with people through grief and loss, anxiety and depression, trauma, identity, and relationship strain.

At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to meet you where you are, walk alongside you, and support healing that feels authentic and sustainable. You don’t need perfect words or a perfect story. You just have to begin.

Therapy isn’t reserved for crisis. It’s a space for care, reflection, and intentional support — wherever you are in your journey.

How working together feels

Steady, unhurried, and shaped around you

We start with a conversation

A short consultation to talk through what’s bringing you in and whether we’re a fit. No pressure to commit.

We go at your pace

I tailor the approach to your nervous system and your goals — not the other way around.

We work toward real relief

Together we make sense of what’s under the exhaustion, and build ways of coping that actually last.

Let’s see if we’re a fit

The next step is small: a short, no‑pressure consultation. We’ll talk, and you decide what feels right.

Care doesn’t require a crisis.
